"Cedar Wax-Wing" picture was taken at Afton State Park and "Two Young Deer" posed for Jerry at Interstate Park this winter.
Two more pictures of the plentiful wildlife in Interstate Park. They are probably so accustomed to Jerry's visits they just pose for him now!
This "Male Cardinal" lives
in our yard with his mate. We have two cardinal families who have found a home with us over the past several years.. We take pride in seeing that they are well cared for with a heated birdbath and plenty of black oil sunflower seed which they love.
This is one of our many grey squirrels who apparently think the risk of being chased by our two dogs is worth it! They chatter and scamper around our yard on all but the coldest of days. It has become a game trying to outsmart us and our attempts to find "squirrel proof birdfeeders" and a baffle that really works!
"Wolf" is one of the captives at Como Park... but the "Jay" is one of our back yard critters. (Among all the wildlife
you see in Gallery II, the wolf is the only variety we are yet to see in our yard. Our dogs will have to suffice for the time being I guess... it's as
close as we expect to come to a native lobo.)
Eagle - Red Wing Buck - Interstate Park
The Minnesota State Bird, The Loon
Boundary Waters Canoe Area
These are Minnesota wildlife photos in Gallery II. Some are from our state parks and others from the side of the road or the back yard.
Chain of Galleries
Here's another chance to put in your two cents worth and let Jerry know how you liked the second gallery at this site!
